On October 9, 2023, H.E. Mr. Yin Chengwu presented his Letter of Credence to H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of Liberia. H.E. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., Foreign Minister of Liberia, and Hon. George Wesseh Blamo, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs of Liberia were present.

Ambassador Yin conveyed President Xi Jinping's cordial greetings to President George Manneh Weah and said that China and Liberia are good friends and partners sharing weal and woe. China attaches great importance to the development of relations with Liberia, and is willing to continue to consolidate and deepen the friendship between the two countries on the basis of mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and continuously enhance political mutual trust, so as to push forward the China-Liberia comprehensive cooperative partnership to achieve new results.

President George Manneh Weah welcomed Ambassador Yin’s designation and asked him to convey his sincere greetings and high respect to President Xi Jinping. President George Manneh Weah also said that the Liberian side firmly adheres to the One-China Policy and sincerely thanks Chinese Government for its long-term assistance to the development of the country and the improvement of the people's livelihoods of Liberia. The Liberian side is willing to strengthen the bilateral relations and deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation so as to realize common development.

Ambassador Yin arrived in Liberia on September 26, 2023 and presented his copy of Letter of Credence on October 5, 2023.
