Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng Meets Inspector General of Liberia National Police

On October 12, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng met with Hon. Patrick T. Sudue, Inspector General of Liberia  National Police and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on China-Liberia police cooperation and other issues. Mr. Li Jiang, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, and Hon. Sadatu LM. Reeves, Deputy Inspector General of Liberia National Police for Administration were present.

Ambassador Ren introduced the progress of China-Liberia friendly cooperation and related projects to assist the Liberia National Police, appreciated the assistance provided by the Liberian police to ensure the safety of Chinese diplomatic institutions, enterprises and citizens in Liberia, and expressed his willingness to further strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the field of police affairs.

Inspector General Sudue thanked China for its contribution to Liberia's peace-building and economic and social development, highly appreciated the effectiveness of the capability training for the Liberia National Police carried out by the Chinese side, reiterated their firm support for the one-China principle, and stated that they will continue to deepen the cooperation mechanism between the police and enterprises of the two sides and provide a safe environment for the production and operation of Chinese-funded enterprises.
