Ambassador Ren said that China has actively promoted the broadcasting of China Radio International’s FM program in Liberia, which effectively helped the people of Liberia to broaden their access to information about China and understand Chinese stories, and helped to promote the people-to-people ties between the two countries. Despite the risks of Ebola, COVID-19 and other epidemics, the Chinese Radio Aid Project Team has always stayed on, making great contributions to the construction of Liberia Radio Station. He believed that with the joint efforts of the governments and people of the two countries, the epidemic will eventually be defeated, and China-Liberia friendly cooperation in various fields will surely reach a new level.

Minister Rennie expressed appreciations to China and the Chinese Radio Aid Project Team for their important contributions to the development of radio stations and other relevant institutions in Liberia. He said that the nationwide FM broadcasting system China helped Liberia to build is conducive to promoting social and economic development of Liberia, and advancing social democracy and post-war reconstruction of Liberia. Liberia is willing to maintain close collaboration with China and further deepen the bilateral friendly partnership between the two countries.
