Monrovia, Liberia –The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) Madam Ellen Margrethe Løj congratulated the 558 members of the Chinese contingent of the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) for their invaluable contributions and sacrifices to support and sustain Liberia's peace process. SRSG Løj made this statement as she awarded UN peacekeeping medals to the he transport and engineering companies as well as the Level II hospital of UNMIL Chinese peacekeepers last Friday, 3 December 2010. As one of the invited guests present, Chinese Ambassador ZHOU Yuxiao also awarded the medals to the Chinese Peacekeepers for their successful mission completed.
